Windows 7, Finale 2014.5

I'm creating individual instrumental parts for a very large project which consists of multiple documents. I'm 2/3rds through my bass part, and now the Insert function isn't working properly: it's not copying in meter changes, expressions markings, etc. I've checked the Filter multiple times and everything seems to be selected. I've checked the measure attributes of the measure i'm Inserting to, but can discern anything out of the ordinary there. Suggestions?

AFAIK : Inserts retain key & time signatures as long as the whole measure stack is selected in the source. This applies to the score, not the bass part only, unless it is an extracted part.

Michel, I’ve never experienced that before. So far with this project I’m just copying and inserting the specific part stave per document and it’s worked fine.

That doesn't seem to be the case. If the destination contains multiple staves, then copying in one won't transfer those so-called measure settings, but copying one staff from a score into a single-staffed file should work.
