Hi,

I found that there are certain multi measure rests that contain some tempo alteration text, is it normal ? how do I prevent this ?
Thanks in advance

You need to check Break Multimeasure Rests in the Category Designer for Tempo Alterations, then recreate all your multimeasure rests. That MakeMusic didn't set is this way is another sloppy oversight.

This will break the rests before the measures with the tempo alterations. If they occur mid-measure, I set the measure attribute "Break a multimeasure rests" also, which breaks after the measure and is necessary to indicate exactly where the alteration occurs.

Thanks,
I have other expression categories that they don't have the option "break multi measure rests"....I guess I'll need to do it manually

The expression categories are kind of funky in that you have to start off duplicating the right one in order to have that option. (I guess they had their reasons for doing it that way but I would have made them all the same and made using a score list an option). You could create new categories and move your old ones to the new categories.
