Hi, All,
I just installed Fin26 after a download from 3 days ago (I will update my profile). I asked to keep my previous version (25) when installing. All seems well overall, and I have done my typical round of personal customizing that happens whenever I upgrade (menu shortcuts, folders, etc.).

However, now that I look back over everything, the installation seems not to have included the folders for the new Fin26 libraries and templates. Since these have been updated especially thoroughly with the release of Fin26, I am eager to get them.

Assuming they were installed, does anyone know where they might be found? Were they conceivably not installed to begin with?

An attempt at a re-installation does not seem to let me choose particular components of the Finale program to re-install, just the whole shebang.

If I have to reinstall, how much of a redo will I likely have to undergo to restore my customizations?

P- Please enlighten us? I seem to have lost GIFF in the updating process. Can't find it anywhere.

Sorry, but I can't help in this regard. My query did not have anything to do with GIFF. I actually don't use the Garritan features, nor install them. If you are curious where the files may be, you might check the manual under "Finale Installation Details" to see if that tells you at least where they are supposed to be.

What I was looking for I found in:

C:\ProgramData\MakeMusic\Finale [version]\Music Files\[various]

C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\MakeMusic\Finale [version]\Music Files\[various]
