I'm guessing that importing a track from another document must have caused it to play one semitone below concert pitch.
When I delete pages before the problematic section, the pitch playback is corrected. Is there a way to raise the pitch of problematic section by a semitone, without altering the key signature?
Is there a way to correct the pitch of playback?

A possible culprit could be some MIDI data in the imported track.Djard wrote:I'm guessing that importing a track from another document must have caused it to play one semitone below concert pitch …
As a test, try this (on a backup copy):
Edit menu > Clear Selected Items…
In the dialog box Clear Selected Items, select only MIDI Data.

Thank you Peter.
I did not get an opportunity to test your solution; for in the meantime, I unhid the bass clef of the top staff system (piano), tested playback, which was then OK. Then I hid the bass clef again. The problem has not returned. My hunch is that Finale was reading the next instrument (acoustic guitar) as if written in the f-clef, despite the c-clef designation; since the reading difference between the two clefs is one semitone. Just my guess.
