If a smart line or shape is attached to the wrong stave, is there a way to attach it to the right (neighbouring) one other than by deleting it and then re-entering it?

Dynamics can be moved to another stave by dragging with the option key (or Windows equivalent) pressed, but this doesn't seem to work with smart lines and shapes.

You can copy it to the proper stave then delete it. Pretty much the same as just re-entering and deleting except that if it has been adjusted, the adjustments will copy too.

Thanks: that might actually have been slightly quicker in the case in question because of some adjustments that had been made. I should have thought of that.
