Hello all, I understand if I want to change slurs I have to go to the smart slur option dialog box. I know I have to play with settings in regards to horizontal and vertical, but was wondering if there's an easier way to create thinner slurs? Perhaps something with TG tools?

Smart Shape Tool Menu > Smart Slur Options > Thickness. Don't forget to change the tie thickness if you want the ties to match the slurs (Document Options > Ties > Tie Contour).

I'm curious as to why you want to make the slurs thinner. Most engravers consider the Finale defaults too thin and end up increasing the weight of the arcs somewhat.

I just think finales slurs are too thick..that's all! plus, i like to have my music be a little different from the defaults!
