Finale v.26
Windows 10

I want to change playback tempos in the middle of a score, without using a notation in the score like quarternote=120. Used to use an older version of Finale, and it worked fine.

Now I'm writing a new score in a new version of Finale v.26. My old steps (Click on Tools/Advanced Tools/Tempo) used to work fine. But in V.26, there is no "Tempo" under "Advanced Tools". Nor is it under "Special Tools", or anywhere else I can find.

I'm probably looking in the wrong place. But what/where is the right place?

Thanx all!

You can do something similar with the MIDI Tool as with the old Tempo Tool. Pretty easy. Or, you can do it with an expression. Just use a hidden text font, or really, no text at all. Just set a tempo in the definition of the expression.
