Greetings, All!

When I purchase professionally printed sheet music (Parts), in the Baritone (Euphonium) parts, I normally see them separated by Bass Clef and Treble Clef. On the parts, I occasionally see "Bass Clef Symbol + Baritone" and "Treble Clef Symbol + Baritone".

How can I do this when I am making the parts from a score?

Note: I have had zero success with any of the Alt Codes on the Internet

Thanks,

Doug

You need to use a music font. One way to do it is to go to Document/Manage parts, pick your part, and edit the part name. From the Text menu, pick the Maestro font, then use Inserts from the same menu to find your clef. You may have to play around with baseline shift and font size to get it to look good. Another way would be to insert the clef separately in front of the part name in the Baritone parts. You could use an expression, or a staff-attached text block.

Finale comes with a font called Maestro Times for text situations where music symbols are needed. I'm not sure this will work for you, but at least worth investigating.

Thanks, Motet & Zuill!

I was so close, but couldn't see through the ivy on the fence!

I combined both of your suggestions and grabbed the Text and opened Edit Text.
I then selected all of the text for the Instrument label on the Title page.
Then switched the font to Maestro Times, opened Insert > Symbol and located the F Clef symbol.
The rest of the text was straight forward.
Title Page done and project almost completed (just need to finish the Bb, Eb and C Instruments).

I'm converting a Christmas arrangement intended for Vocals and changing it so we can pass the solos around our Community Band.

Thanks again!

Doug
