How did I do this?

Suppose I wanted to print the first two pages of a part "normally" but on the last page, squish all the systems together with no space between them?
I did a File / Extract Parts. A Doc / Manage Parts / Part Creation Preferences / (.) Copy spacing from Score.
And probably countless other things.

Why do I struggle so trying to print stuff in Finale?

My suggestion:

Set up the Part Creation Preferences as in the picture below. Then, in the Manage Parts window, "Generate Parts". If you want normal looking parts, there is no need to copy spacing from the score.

Looks like "avoid margin collisions" is turned off, or "space between systems" is negative. But who knows? Finale gives you enough rope to hang yourself.

That would be also my guess. Make sure it's turned on and the value is positive.

It is checked.

I did a Page Layout / Redefine pages / All pages for each part and the issue went away.

What will happen if I edit the score and re-extract the parts?
I am a patient chap and can quite happily sit here and do the same thing over and over and over and
