I am going nuts. (No comments from the peanut gallery, please.)

To avoid a page turn on a repeat, I would like to move the last system on page two to page 3.

But when I drag the system down, it goes too far down on the next page.

There is like a 4 inch dead space, that I cannot remove. I've looked at page and system margins, tried changing space before and after music, nothing seems to help.

What am I doing wrong?

Page Layout Tool.
Click inside System 13 to select it.
Page Layout menu > Systems > Edit Margins…
*)

In the Edit System Margins for System 13 you can see that the Distance Between Systems (= the big space above the system) has a high value.
Try a lower value, like e. g. 37.5pt (= the Distance Between Systems for System 8 ).

*) To work faster/smarter, go via the context menu.

You should probably add a Page Break to System 13 (look in the Page Layout menu).

Changing that distance between systems didn't help. As soon as I tried to move the systems down, that blank space reappeared. However, the page break worked. Thanks for the suggestion!
