you would probably be better off contacting MakeMusic's customer support?

I know it is of little help and probably rude but
iMac (Late 2014) 10.14.6
is your first problem. As a beta tester for several large software companies, I will guess 75% of the problems come from the Mac side. Sorry.

Call MM tech.

I have to disagree. Of all my Finale problems, the Mac is not to blame for any of them.

Same here. I've had many passing irritations from Finale (few disasters though, and nothing that couldn't be overcome by one means or another), but none as a direct result of my use of Mac.

Don't know how but the problem solved for now. I run some update on Macosx. Maybe that's why now everything is stable... Thanks.

"I run some update on Macosx."

That was one of the issues we saw, problems with the OS. I will bet you won't see any more problems. Let's hope so!

I've noticed that among professional users of desktop publishing applications there seems to be the common courtesy of not vociferously and naggingly criticizing the choice of platforms (Mac or Windows). Of the competent engravers on this forum, it seems about evenly split between the two. Good, hassle-free work is being done as we sit here.

I've been free-lance engraving using Finale on a Mac for almost 20 years. I work 10-12 hours a day, often 7 days a week. I've never had any serious problems with the Mac OS, and what problems do occasionally arise are the familiar engineering defects of Finale (stuck key syndrome, update layout problems, etc). I have very little comprehensive knowledge of the Mac OS. Perhaps because I've never needed it.
