What is the opposite of 'a tempo?'

Thank you for the replies. I guess the problem might be that the reader wouldn't know what 'liberamente' or 'z tempo' means so 'tempo ad lib' might be the best choice.
I tried googling an answer to this and (surprisingly), there's no information that I can find which seems strange because if you have 'a tempo' surely there needs to be an opposite to that..
