Deleted notes still display

F26, when I delete a note on the screen it remains on display until I scroll the screen up or down.
Sounds minor, I know, but if I am working quickly I think I did not delete it and hit the Delete key again, only to find I have deleted too many notes.
A similar effect is apparent when I edit lyrics.

You can redraw the screen by pressing Control/D. Does that work? Finale has always had screen drawing problems, so that might be necessary now and then.

I've had a similar problem for about two years. It started with one of the Windows 10 updates but I don't remember which one.

When I edit, I get colored remnants of previous stuff. It's intermittent. I just use <ctrl>D to fix things. I spent six months trying various things with Make Music. They could not reproduce my results. I happens on two HP computers running different versions of Windows-10. One is a desktop and one a laptop. When I move to another measure, it updates correctly. It doesn't seem to matter which staff I'm editing (and I tried new files, old files, etc. for months.)

I get 'mouse trails' when I use the Repeat option. Ctrl-D always fixes it. I don't remember earlier version of Finale doing that.

I've never had any of these issues either.
I wonder what differences might cause the issues on some computers, but not others.

In may case, I think (but do not have enough evidence) that it has something to do with Microsoft Updates interacting with either Finale or the display drivers. I had not problems then they started last fall.

I do have other weird experiences unrelated to Finale so this may be of this type. I couldn't print for some time. Checking various sites gave me some information that there were colleges with 8 identical printers on a network and often 1 wouldn't work while the other 7 did. I chased down to McAfee's firewall. If this was on, I couldn't print. I removed McAfee's stuff (it keeps coming free with either the internet service or ot computer maker). Now I use Microsoft's firewall which doesn't interfere.

I also have lost the ability to share files (for about the third time). It seems that the only thing that will work is a new network name wna new user names for the people and equipment. I use other means now. Never underestimate the bandwidth of a handful of USB drives.

Same here.

Finale 26 and Win 10 still won't print correctly and MM hasn't a clue. They don't know what to do or where to start. MM blames something MS did and of course MS says it is MM's own fault. I have talked extensively with both to to avail.
