Anyone used the MIDI Clipboard?

One feature I've only just noticed (or forgotten about and re-discovered) is the MIDI Import from and Export to the Clipboard.
According to the docs, Finale can copy and paste MIDI to and from other applications.

I asked MM which applications this work with (as Logic does not seem to be one of them), but they said they didn't have a list.
Has anyone used this to and from other apps?
