I need to convert some files from Finale 26 to 2012 for a project. Articulations are an absolute mess because of the new articulation handling. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks,
David

That is “a very good question”.

An idea:
Have you tried exporting from v26 as MusicXML, and then importing the MusicXML into 2012?

Click on and highlight one of the misplaced articulation handles. Press "clear". Does it snap to its correct position? If so, select all and go to Utilities>Change>Articulations. Run the utility without making any further settings and it will clear positioning on all articulations in the file.
