Does Gear Fisher really care about Finale?

Although it’s almost two years old, I just came across this article:
https://www.peaksware.com/peaksware-hol ... -division/
Interesting that SmartMusic is considered a “platform solution” while Finale and Garritan are “complementary” products. Mr. Fisher’s proudest accomplishment seems to be making and controlling lots of money. I no longer have even wavering hope for any real future development of Finale. It seems to be “ignore the bugs, and look for something easy to call a new feature. Oh, and don’t bother really testing it. The guys on the forum will do that.”
(Cross-posted to the other forum, as well)
I would really like to see a response from him, but somehow, I suspect he’s too busy for that...
