Due to layout restrictions, I am planning to make a dotted 8va line follow the contour of the notes (ie: starting above the notes but below the initial tempo indication, then ascending with the notes' contour and then levelling off).
Am I right to assume I have to "fake it" by creating non-playback dotted lines?
