Hi group. I am currently copying and pasting a lot of dialogue from a PDF onto a Finale score as “text.” Is there a way to set the font so that with each paste, I don’t need to individually change the font of the text each time I paste in some lines? Thanks!

You don't specify if you are using the Text Tool or the Expression Tool.
A few ideas :
Text Tool : Document Options -> Fonts -> Text -> Text Blocks (for new texts)
Or via a plug-in -> Miscellaneous -> Change Fonts
Expressions : create a category (from a duplicate), define its font. Put all the new text expressions in it and when you are done, select them all and apply Reset to Category -> Font.

Another possibility-
Copy and paste all of the text - do not change the fonts just yet. When you're done, use Edit > Text Search and Replace to fix the fonts. Set the options to be the type of text - text blocks, text expressions, etc.
