Hi all!

I would appreciate your advice on troubleshooting. At the school I work at, we're running Finale 2014 (not 2014.5), and every time we try to use the Expression Tool, Finale crashes. So far, no crashes occur on the other tools, but it does on the Expression Tool. And it's consistent. It crashes every time we select the tool from the Main Palette, and then double-click on a measure.

We're on a 2017 iMac running OS High Sierra (10.13.6)

I've tried my standard go-to fix, which is going to ~/library, finding all the MakeMusic prefs and trashing them. But it doesn't solve the problem.

Any other solutions you might suggest? Or do we need to uninstall Finale and re-install it?

The school has version 25, but the computer that version was on crashed last week, so we're limping along with this iMac and an older version of Finale until we can get back up and going with the other computer. In the meantime, I'd sure love to be able to use the Expression tool. :D

Thank you!

Finale 2014 is not compatible with High Sierra (10.13.6). Finale 2014.5 was introduced several years back to address issues with the Mac OS. I suggest you install 2014.5 - it's a free update.
