On a Percussion staff I wrote notes for Bells.
How could I add notes for Cymbals on the same staff?

I appreciate your always valuable help

Thanks, motet, but I don't get it.
I'd like Bells sounding till measure 4, and Cymbals from measure 5.
I don't even get any sound at all for Bells

I thought your question was now to put bells and cymbal on the same staff. I don't use Garritan or the Aria player, so I don't know why your playback doesn't work.

When I opened the file, only the Bass was playing. I reassigned all the instruments, changed to Cymbals at the desired spot, and all plays now. It's hard to hear the Bells and Cymbals because everything else is loud. I attached my revised version of the file.

As Zuill stated, the volumes are too loud. In the original file the VST banks were set to 200. Zuill's file was set at 135 and bank 1 was still clipping. I set the volume for banks 1 and 2 to 70 and put the percussion staff into bank 3 and raised its volume to 200. At those settings the bells were audible.

Thank you very much, motet zuill and heinzfan.
I studied your answers.
Interesting your remarks about volume, too.
Now I see it's possible to write Bells ans Cymbals on the same staff.
Would it be possible notate both instruments poliphonically?. I mean in the same measure at the same time?
