I've been finishing up a big-band score, 25 pages, and suddenly all the music in pgs 1-5 has been moved to the far right of the page. Music spacing (with lock off) does nothing; I can't even highlight the blank section to the left of the notes. .mus score is attached. Help?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Boy that's strange! It seems to be an attribute of those pages, not the measures (a bunch of extra space between clef/key signature and the start of the measure). "Redefine pages" doesn't help. I'll continue to play with it.

Following the clue you supplied, I think I've fixed the problem: I called up the System Space Before/After Music dialog box, and found that the space before was set to 5. Making it 0 seems to have worked! Thanks! I never would have figured this out on my own.

Enter 0 in both boxes and apply. (I realize you just figured it out)
But your file is strange. If I modify something, the "Revert to saved" command remains greyed out. Not normal.

Aha--glad you found it. I wasn't even aware of that feature. Perhaps the file was corrupted and changing that value fixed it.
michelp: "Revert" doesn't work on an untitled document, which it would be if you opened the file with a later version of Finale, so maybe that's why it's grayed out.

Thanks, motet, I opened the file in 25.

It's likely that the file is corrupt. Could be because it originates from Allegro 2003. I'd make a fresh new template in whatever Finale version you use and try to copy the music into that. If you are working with these old files you're asking for trouble. Always use an up to date template that has never been used before.
