This is no big issue but something that puzzles me. It's about doubled augmentation dots in unisons in two layers. I encountered this a a few years back and then had the vague memory that it was fixed in a later version.

This is how it should be IMO:

This is what Finale (still) does by default:

Rests 'consolidate' nicely between layers nowadays, but augmentation dots? Perhaps I simply didn't find how to, or was mistaken, because it never was fixed?

You can turn that option off. It's a choice.

Document Options > Augmentation Dots > Adjust dot for Multiple Voices > When UNCHECKED, you would only get a single dot for the unison note.

Thanks both of you. I wasn't aware that you had to do something to get rid of the doubled dots.

When I looked for it in document options the "adjust dot for multiple voices" didn't ring a bell. And shouldn't it be the other way round - adjust for consolidating, otherwise unadjusted and doubled?
