For some reason, part of my playback box is greyed out. This has never happened before, and I am unsure of what to do. Any help is appreciated!

Make sure that you STOP playback with the button, not the spacebar, which is just Pause. That should get you back on track.

And if that doesn't work, click the playback settings button on the playback controls and set Always Start At to Current counter setting as shown.

Nothing has changed on my computer except Windows updates and Finale 26.2 update but I have seen some sound and playback quirks lately, too.
