Hi- On the attached file I'm trying to put two grace notes in front
of the half-note A at meas.3. I'm using the simple entry pallette.
It seems to be putting in a quarter grace note even though I
selected the grace (with the slash). What I want is C-Bb as the
two grace notes leading to the A at meas. 3. Should I be clicking
into the end of the 2nd measure or the beginning of the 3rd measure?
Thanks.

Click the eighth note icon (or sixteenth) as well as the grace-note icon in the palette. Put them in in reverse order.

If you want 2 grace notes, they should be 16th note value. In Simple entry, select the 16th note value then the Grace Note value. You can then enter them as usual.
