parts not showing in printing window! SOLVED

Most peculiar....nothing showing so I can't print the parts, only the score. Its the same with any file, so the file is not corrupted. Can't export parts for the same reason. Has this happened to anyone and can anyone help?

You don't use Linked Parts, Document/Edit Parts?

oldmkvi may or may not be right that you haven't created parts, but there was a problem with the print dialog. See the article here:

Yes always create parts...they are all edited hence wanting to print/export.

Yup, Motet you are right. the article states that a windows update caused the 'print to Microsoft Pdf' is set to default printer and won't work unless you set another printer as default. You can then use the Microsoft printer from print window, but you would have to do this every time you want to print a part...in other words come out of Finale then open again. I will put a 3rd party Pdf printer (and set as default) on my music computer to get round this. Thanks for your help

You're probably better off anyway. I like CutePDF. There are others.

Yes, I have this on my other computer, so was just about to download for the music one. Its a good program.
EDIT Have downloaded and installed free cute PDF all is good now.
