I'm adding the finishing touches to a document, and am trying to organise the layout so that there are 4 systems on each page. On the last two pages, there are 3 systems and 1 system respectively, and I cannot move the single system across to the page with 3 systems. I've noticed that all of these systems have a lock symbol, but I cannot remove this, even selecting all and using Control + U. Can anyone offer some advice?

The lock symbols have nothing to do with your problem. They signify that the number of measures on each system is locked - they will remain as you see them.

I'd approach the problem like this:

With the Staff Tool, highlight all of the measures on the last 4 systems. Go to Staff Menu > Respace Staves. In the 4th field from the top, type in Scale to - 99%. Hit OK. This will reduce the stave spacing inside each system a bit. Repeat until the 4th system snaps to the previous page. Adjust the individual stave spacing if there are collisions. You might also have to reduce the margins between systems - use Page Layout Tool > Systems > Edit Margins.

It might just be a matter of moving system margins as you say. Sometimes people come here with similar problems and one margin is way out of whack for some reason, I guess done accidentally.

I use the Page Layout Tool/Space Systems Evenly.
Select 4 Systems for the Page(s) in question.

Make sure there isn't a Page Break in there somewhere.
