a strange bit of voice-leading

I'm not sure of how to resolve this, or even if it needs resolving. On the attached file, the score is shown meas.1-4. The intended voice-leading is shown in meas.7-11. I have kept the stems up for the melody and stems down for the accompaniment chords (FG in meas.2 and EbG in meas.4). is there a clearer way to write this, in your opinion? Thanks.

If you are asking about the stems-down chords in measures 2 and 4, they could be in the bass clef.

True, but that would appear to mean play them with left hand, and it would also require the left hand to reach over and above the right hand. I want those notes played by right hand because there will be other stuff to be played by the left hand.

I think your writing is clear and without problem. The eighth rests would be better placed below the staff, though.

I agree with Anders. However, I can imagine some preferring a more "normal" look, since the voice leading is clear in spite of the change of stem direction:
