Hi to all,
how do you deal with the following standard problem:
In a file with many bar sections, you need to insert a bar. Now the bar counters are not correct anymore, bar 1 of the following section becomes bar 2 and so on.
Of course, you can move everything one digit further by hand under "Edit bar number sections", i.e. turn "99-105" into "100-106". But isn't there a smarter way?
Actually, Finale would have to ask automatically if the count should be adjusted when inserting bars.

For the solution I spontaneously thought of JW Measure Numbers. There you have the options: Regions -> Offset Numbering. But that doesn't work properly, at least I can't get it right. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

When I've done this, I've just gone in to Edit Measure Number Regions and manually changed the three numbers for each affected region. It goes pretty quickly, perhaps quicker than figuring out the plug-in, which is undocumented.
