Hi, I'm running Finale26 on a Mac and I have this really annoying problem. Somehow I have "lost" the Page Setup dialog box. I select Page Setup from the menu, and nothing happens. Does anyone know where I can find it, and how to get it back? This happens on my Windows machine also, but that one is with TGTools. Thanks!

What is your Mac OS? Have you restarted the computer? Are you using more than one monitor? Have you tried changing your screen resolution, to see if the window has been moved outside of the viewing area?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I'm running os sierra 10.12.6. My screen resolution is the maximum allowed. I've tried restarting, but alas to no avail!

My guess is that you can get the Page Setup dialog box back via “fresh” Preferences.

Two things to try:

1) In the Preferences window, click the button Reset All Preferences.

If 1) does not help, quit Finale, and try

2) Remove the Preferences file.
Its file name is 'com.makemusic.finale.fprf'.
Then, launch Finale again.
Finale will build a new Preferences file since it can not find its old Preferences file (which you removed).

Just resetting the preferences worked for me, so thank you for that. Of course, it dumped all the preferences I did want to keep... Thanks for the help!
