Tuplet not allowing correct amount of notes

Back to the subject — sort of, Finale has a problem with tuplets, though.
Try this: in speedy entry use the option to fill an incomplete measure with rests. Then create an incomplete tuplet (on a Mac: option-3 and type the number 4 twice) at the end of a measure. Exit the (incomplete) measure and see how Finale 'completes' the tuplet.
That's computing on a level unbeknown to me.
Not to mention copying and pasting tuplets. The result would even stun Ferneyhough.
