I believe v2012 offered the ability to space all measures evenly in a score. In v26, I cannot find any such option in the Measure Tool, Preferences, Document Options or Utilities. Is the feature still available, and if so where can it be found?

It was not there, as such. You can set all measures to the same width. I’m away from the computer, so I can’t be more specific, sorry. Or are you talking about putting the same number of measures in each staff? That is Fit Music (or Fit Measures; I can never remember.) I think they changed the terminology, but it’s still there.
I’m sure someone more helpful will be along soon!

Maybe this is what you're thinking of?

Spacing everything equally regardless of measure content may not give pleasing results.

The way I do it:
Lock the layout. With the Measure Tool, select all measures and hit the enter key. The measure attributes window is now set to affect all measures. Under measure width, type in a smallish amount, 1 or 2 inches. Hit OK. The actual measure width will not be the 1 or 2 inches, but the measure widths will be justified within the width of each system.

Thanks. That worked. Yeah Mike, you told me so. LOL!
Converting MUS files created in a 32-bit version of Finale to MUSX in a 64-bit version of Finale skewed many measure widths for me. I figured spacing them evenly then manually widening the busy ones was what I needed to do. But the Note Spacing option did the trick.
I did learn a trick that may be a universal fix, such as when conversion causes an intractable error. Export the corrupted file as a MusicXML -> tile the two documents horizontally -> clear all items in the section with the problem section -> copy the corrected section in the MXL document -> Insert (NOT paste) it into the problematic document -> delete the empty measures you cleared -> adjust any articulations that may have moved out of place. Voila!
