Dear friends,
Today I became perplexed as to why my tablature staff produced negative numbers for only one specific measure. I set the tab staff for a guitar that was tuned this way: (going low to high) DGDGBE, like a G tuning for an original song I wrote. I got through 21 measures no problem, and when I dragged measure 22 down to the tab staff, I got highlighted negative numbers. Has anyone seen this before? I'm using Finale 26 on Windows 7. Thank you for anyone who can help! Scott.
P.S, I typically drag all measure into the tab staff after I'm done, but I didn't do it that way this time around. Measure by measure.

Take a look in
Preferences - Edit

Is the option
Respect Instrument Ranges when Copying or Changing Instruments
selected or de-selected?

This doesn't answer your question, but if you select the TAB measure and transpose up an octave, is it correct?

Thank you for your suggestions! I selected the measure, and transposed it. It worked! But weird, I've never experienced that before. I hope it doesn't happen again.
