So, this is a new one to me.
I got a file from somebody that crashed when I tried to play it. The apparent reason was that they had created the file with ARIA version 1.961. My ARIA version is 1.959. So I tried to update my ARIA player and it told me I had the most recent version of ARIA. ??? Also there's a Player version and an Engine version. I can update the Engine to 1.961, but Finale immediately crashes because apparently you can't have the ARIA Engine with a version ahead of the ARIA Player. After crashing because of this, when I open up Finale again the Engine has been reverted to 1.959 to match the Player. Again, it told me that 1.959 for the ARIA Player was the most up to date. And even on the website it looks like 1.959 is the last version that you're able to update to.
So... what's going on here???
Does anyone have ARIA version 1.961? And... how did you get it?

Note that the ARIA Player and the ARIA Engine are two separate things, with separate version numbers.

Yes,
I’ve been to that page. But when you follow the instructions to find the update for the ARIA Player, the highest version available to download for the player is 1.959. As it states on the link you provided, the version for the engine can’t be higher than the version of the player. I can’t find the ARIA player version 1.961 anywhere!
