Expressions in Finale 26

I've just upgraded to v26 from Finale 2009. I understood that the latest version included a far wider range of expressions but I'm not seeing them. It's not that big a deal as it's no hassle to create them but I'm curious as to why this is. The screenshot is of the expressions offered to me.

1) Your screen shot shows the Expression Selection, with the category Tempo Marks selected.
If you instead click on Show All, you will see all the expressions (from all the categories) in the document.

2) Expressions are document specific, not program specific.
In case a document only contains few expressions, consider loading an expression library:
File menu > Load Library…
