Is there a way to set up Finale to automatically beam 3 sixteenth notes together in 12/16 time? Seems logical, but now when I input notes, none of the notes are beamed (all separated.) Thanks.

It is done with the Time Signature Tool.

Set the Number of Beats to 4, and the Beat Duration to a dotted Eighth.

In this time signature, all new music will automatically beam Sixteenths in groups of 3.

To update already entered music, Rebeam Music.
