coloured notes are exported as black and white?

Hi, I have set my layer 4 colour as RED.
FINALE 2014 ON WINDOWS.
I have my written music on layer 1 (black) so I change it to layer 4 using EDIT>MOVE TO LAYER 4
My music now shows on red colour but when I make a selection an export it, it exports only on black and white, no red.
How to export and keep my colours?

Finale's export graphics only produces black and white, which is normal. To export the display colors, you'd have to use a PDF creator that exports color and set the print dialog to "print display colors".

What would be a pdf creator? like a screen capture software? I need to export for web not for printing. thanks!

I know how to google, but the porpouse of posting on a forum is not being replaced with "use google" . I found a workaround myself though.

I'm sorry I offended you, but if the question is "Why are my coloured notes coming out black and white?", then of course ask here. But if the question is "what is PDF Creator?", Googling will give you your answer much quicker, and, if it seems to be what you want, you can download it and be on your way.
