Finale v26 won't open

My Finale will not open. I just recently updated to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4.

I click on it and it bounces in the dock, but it never opens. When I tried to restart, it said that Finale won't quit and it is not responding. I can force quit it however.

I have tried:

1. Reinstalling
2. Changing admin users
3. trying opening it in safe mode
4. trying the demo version that is out there now
5. restarting my computer

Can anyone help me with this?

Not sure if this applies to your situation, but try plugging in any headphones into the headphone port on your computer before opening the program. This once corrected a similar issue on my mac.

Thanks, Hector. I tried up but unfortunately it didn't work. Heck I'll try anything at this point.

Can you revert to the previous version of the OS? Chances are you can live without what ever improvements the latest update provided.
