I made a little treble clef example page for some of my young students from an old single line violin part that I had lying around (could be a Finale Allegro 1998 file!). When I tried to change the treble clef to the bass clef to make a comparable bass clef example page, Finale refused to change the clef. I'm stumped.

There is something hinky with that file, but if I created a new file and pasted your example in, it works as it should.

Where is the dialog box where you can change the "Transposition" and "set" the clef?
