Expression tool double click

Shut the computer down and restart, restart Finale and all should be well. It's a fairly well known bug.

Yeah, sometimes certain keys will "stick" virtually. Then when you use a tool with metatools like the expression tool, Finale thinks you're pressing down that button.
One thing that has helped me is to use that metatool key in another program. For instance, if 2 was sticking (like in your case), I'd go to a text editor and press 2 until everything works fine. About 50% of the time, it fixes the issue without restarting my computer. The other 50% of the time, I still need to restart.
