I am currently using the older Finale 2011 on my Mac using OS 10.6.8,
and I am satisfied with it. Will this same Finale work to any extent
if I upgrade my operating system to OS 10.11 - El Capitan?
I am using it in a very basic way to create piano scores such as the
attached.

That should be OK. I wouldn't go much further, though.

Do you mean you wouldn't go further with the complexity of the music, or with a higher upgrade
to the OS ?

It will work but Human Playback should be turned off, otherwise the program will crash. The complexity of the music doesn't matter.

Thanks. I never use human playback unless it's a real human.
