Add a Drum Set staff, enter the metronome clicks and set this staff's attribute "Force Hide Staff".

Beware, your Flute#2 is set to "solo" - so unless you change that, you won't hear the clicks (and neither flute#1).

Thank you, Haralds, but I don't know whether I explained very well my purpose.

My aim is to play the Flute 1 as I listen to Flute 2 as accompaniment, so Flute 1 will be silent.
But I need to listen to metronome till the moment I begin to play.

Let's say that I'd like to create a minus one for my own pleasure

Okay, then just add the drum set staff for the clicks and mute Flute #1.

Harold, I am doing something wrong.
I put woodblock for the new staff but I get no sound

actually, the sound for the track seems to be piano, not woodblock, but the reason you don't hear anything is that you haven't entered any notes on the new staff

Very true. If you try what I suggested (add a drum set staff and enter notes for the metronome click), it should work.
Usually, a "Side Stick" sound on MIDI Note #37 (C# on a MIDI Keyboard) is used as a metronome.

Thank you very much both HaraldS and mmike

Then the route is:

1) Staff menu/ New blank staves: Add a Drum Set staff

2) Enter the metronome clicks (notes).

3) Score Manager MIDI Note 116 woodblock

4) Staff Menu/Editt this staff's attribute/ "Force Hide Staff"

5) Mute Flute 1

How would I do that in Simple Entry, no MIDI keyboard?

Someday, I hope that entering percussion is as straightforward as entering notes.

If I understand and if I'm not wrong, you set up the Percussion Map for "Side Stick" sound on MIDI Note #37. Then you can enter with Simple Entry by whatever means you usually use.

Something lacks me, though, as it doesn't sound midi #37

For this particular example you don't really need to deal with a percussion track. In the originally posted file I just set the click track staff to GM sound 116 (woodblocks) and entered (any - gives slightly different pitches) 4 quarter notes with simple entry, then force hid the staff. Works just fine.
