I have a simple time signature change from 2/2 to 3/2. The number of beats in the bar is changing correctly but the time signature is still displaying as 2/2 in the 3/2 measures. What can I do to get the display to show correctly? Thank you!

There is an option to have one time signature be the real signature, but display as another. Maybe that setting is on.

You might also use the Measure Tool and see if Show Time Signature is clicked.

Thank you both for your replies. Zuill, where do I find that option setting for choosing one time signature but displaying another? That could be the problem.

In the Time Signature window, click More Options.

That was it, Zuill. Many, many thanks! I never would have figured it out!

I am able to see the original time signature and the first change, but not the change back. This is only when using a unique time signature. Measure 3 is supposed to go back into 3/2 and as far as the measure is concerned it did, but it doesn't display the change. It does display the change when picking one of the regular options (ie. 4/4, etc.)

That is decidedly bizarre. Happens to me, too. I see if I can figure out something...

Open the time signature tool for that third measure, click More Options, and uncheck "Use a different time signature for display," which should be checked (like I say, it happened to me, too). That will fix it.

It looks like what happens is that when you choose 2/2 from the context menu, it sets "Use a different time signature for display" in order to show 2/2 instead of cut time. But then this setting sticks for future changes.
