independent repeat markings?

By this I mean is it possible to have repeats at different places for each part? I'm trying to work out the best way to notate 7 different repeating rhythms that all start at slightly different places in different parts. They repeat until cued by the conductor.

I suppose I could do it graphically by drawing them in, but would look a bit strange

I'm doing it this way so players don't have to sit and continuously count.....it would give them a little more freedom to relax and enjoy the rhythms.

Thanks, as always

Jill

Take a look at the attached demo.

Do you mean something like this?

And how are the repeats done? I have little experience with them, but when I apply them, the options to limit them to certain staves are grayed out. I suspect the O.P. is going to need a little detail.

It appears a Staff Style is used to hide them on all but the needed staves.

Yes, that is what I was trying to do.

Now using a different solution: using brackets over rhythms/notes with instruction to repeat notes under bracket til cued.
