Hi, If I have 2 bars of music and apply a custom staff style I have made, the right barline of my 1st measure is gone.
I checked my meassure attribute is not as invisible (is set as normal) but barline is still missing.
What Im doing wrong? Could anyone help me to get the barline back?
THANKS!

Check Staff Attributes for that staff. Since the barline is only missing on one staff, and since the Staff Style is not set to turn off barlines, then that is my guess. Or, post the file here and we can check it out.

It appears that when you defined the Staff Style, you created barlines with 0 above and 0 below the single line. In inches, you might choose .083 above and -.083 below, to match the way Finale has it for the stock definition for the single staff line Staff Style with short barline.

I am having the same issue. I have a long score of 50 pages. I am using tic barlines, a custom half barline (as in plainchant), and normal, double, and final barlines.
Twice now I have had to go re-insert EVERY custom half barline, because they have disappeared and do not appear in print or PDF scores. I have not changed any settings between when they appear and when they disappear. All other barlines are working fine, only the custom barline is disappearing. I've never experienced this before.
This is maddening. How do I fix this so they stay permanently?

You can upload it here, if you want. Otherwise, I guess you can send an attachment in a PM on this Forum.

I see Bar 40 has the Custom Barline chosen. What shape did you use for that? Right now it's showing Shape 1, which is the MM Rest Shape.

Did you use the Measure tool to change other attributes after specifying the barline? It looks like if you do that it changes the shape to shape 1. A bug, I guess.
You might be able to get around it by making your shape shape 1, if that's possible.
