No. We're just users. However, we might be of help. I'll look at the file and try to see if I can find anything.

Okay. I looked at the file. I don't use Custom Barline, and the Documentation does not explain it in detail. I thought it might be like a Custom Clef where once you create it, you can keep selecting it over and over. Not true. Each time you choose the Custom Barline, it is an independent selection. So, for each measure where you want it, you need to reselect the shape you created.

Now, Custom was selected, but the shape itself wasn't showing, and at each spot, you needed to reselect it. Not fun. How the shape got de-selected is a mystery. Since you're not sure how that happened, troubleshooting is more difficult. After I select the shape for each of the measures, save the file, close, and then reopen, the shapes are still there. So, something happened, and we don't know what.

You might want to consider waiting until everything else is finished, and then apply the Custom Barline as a last step. To simplify the process, you could use another Barline that you don't need (dashed, perhaps), as a placeholder, and then go through and replace those one by one with the Custom Barline, selecting your custom Shape for each measure.

You can enter the Measure Tool in Bar 1, and then use the arrows by the measure number slot to progress through the document. Each time the Dashed Barline appears, click Select, and then choose the Custom Shape, press select, then go on to the next Dashed Barline. There's no need to leave the Measure Tool window. Once you're all the way through the document, press OK and your Custom Barline shape will appear where you want it.

Much simpler way:

Create the Custom Barline in first measure where needed. Then, use the Edit Filter to select only "Barline Styles". You must select a Measure Stack for this to work. So, select the first measure stack in which you created the Custom Barline. Then in each measure where this is needed, select the measure stack and press Ctrl-V. Proceed through the document this way.

And even at that forum, don't expect many answers direct from Finale. It's also a user forum. However, you can submit a help request.

You can create a problem ticket on the MakeMusic website independent of those forums.
