Hi there,
is it possible to open Sibelius files in the newest versions of Finale?

Thanks for your response.

You have to export as MusicXML and import.

I had reason to open a few Sibelius files yesterday and this is how I did it....

I downloaded Sibelius First (for free, it took 5 minutes) and then upon installation, it asked me if I wanted to trial Sibelius Ultimate for 30 days. I wasn't expecting this, but I agreed and it then installed in about 20 seconds without any problems. I could immediately open and playback the files that I had reason to open. I quite liked the look of Sibelius, I must say, although I will be always a Finale user because I am used to it.

After 30 days, I might consider using both...

Cheers,
Hector.
