Hello everyone!
The image below is a part of a score I am writing. I am trying to put the clef before the staff "restart" (both for cello and double bass)...do you have any idea on what I could do?

First, how did you do the cutaway measure? Maybe we need to see a sample file to examine.

I used "force hide staff"....

Study to see how I created custom staff styles for the cutaway that allow the clef to show. I showed a full size clef and a 75% size clef. I created 2 styles. One hides barlines (for the first 2 measures) and one shows the barline for the 3rd bar.

You can also create the clef as an expression.

For a “full size” clef symbol, set the font size to 24 Points.
For a ¾ size clef symbol, set the font size to 18 Points.

For the F clef symbol (Bass Clef), position the clef symbol at -6pt from the Staff Reference Line.

For the G clef symbol (Treble Clef), position the clef symbol at -18pt from the Staff Reference Line.
