A while back, everyone (especially Zuill) helped me out setting up a "play only on second pass" situation.
I have a friend who want a section to play arco one time, and pizz on the repeat.
I don't see how to apply the expressions to the articulations. Muting is easy, since there is a Key Velocity effect. But what would I use to observe (or not observe) the articulation?

This is easier to do if you use Garritan KS Violin instead of SoftSynth, so I modified your file to use that. The expression I created uses a keyswitch Dump, thus over-riding HP, which has trouble with recognizing some expressions, especially in trying to get the pass selection to work.
