I'm downloading this tonight. I'll report if it affects (+ or - ) anything I do.

I have typing problems that affect a few others; it occurs in Ver25 and Ver26. It did happen right after some Microsoft update so I can't really isolate it. It happens on all my files but MM and others cannot recreate it. It's a redraw that I mentioned here. <Ctrl>D fixes the problem as does entering a note in other measures. Both Speedy and Simple and various views have the problem.

Installed fine on Omen HP laptop. Gets "installer quit due to error" (or similar) on desktop. I'll reload and try once more tonight then maybe tomorrow.

Ran Ccleaner and emptied cache. Re-downloaded (not bad, about 8 minutes over poor DSL line). Installation worked fine. More checking later.

I keep getting the pop up advert for the Finale update, but haven't been game to install it yet! I'm running 26.2.2.493 on Mojave without issues. Better the devil I know...while I'm in the middle of a piece. I am tempted to know what the new dark mode is like.

since all of my commissions have fallen by the wayside with all of the arts organizations shut down for at least another year, here, I decided "what the hell" and got the update.

as a Windows user (Win 8.1) I have had 0 problems.
one nice thing they changed is that now there is no 2 second latency when playing back with NotePerformer3. the scrolling bar actually follows the music now.

that said, considering how often we hear about the sheer quantity of incompatibilities with anything Mac-related, it would probably be a good idea for Mac users to get confirmation that there aren't any issues for them.

The Mac build number for the new update is 26.3.1.643.

Well, the Tool Palettes haven't been changed, so they're incongruously pallid. Obviously, it only affects menus and dialogs: it doesn't invert the actual music on the page. Because white music on a black background would be crazy.

One of the fixes, at least for Windows, is that the Return-to-Beginning button now works in the playback controls when you've chosen the option to play from the current counter setting.
