How is it possible to change the vertical positioning of ALL instances of a particular articulation (in this case staccato strokes, both normal position and flipped) that are already in my score? It would take ages to edit each one individually. I've seen that 'Edit Articulation Definition' also effects articulations inserted after editing, and not articulations inserted beforehand.

Florio,

Your question is not clear.

Here it sounds like you need to move ALL instances, both those inserted before editing and those inserted after editing.

Here it becomes unclear.
Please explain.

When I make a change, it affects those already in the score, as well as new ones.

My reading is he wants to move those already created but not ones applied in the future. If that's the case, make a copy of the articulation and edit the old one to move the existing ones and use the new one for future articulations. But if you're worried about affecting other files in the future, the editing only applies to the current file.

Change Articulation Assignment utility can do that, without needing to change the definition or create a duplicate. It has a slot for a vertical placement. So does the JW Change plugin.
